Terms of sale

  • By placing an order you are offering to purchase a product on www.shioklighting.com and subject to the following terms and conditions. 

  • All sales orders submitted online are subjected to Shiok Lighting's acceptance.

  • All sales are final. Exchanges shall only be applicable for manufacturer defects. Manufacturer defects must be reported within 72 hours upon delivery or before installation, whichever is sooner. Items must be returned to Shiok Lighting physically in unused condition with original packaging.  

  • The customer is responsible to check against the invoice at the point of sale to ensure that there are no discrepancies to the order. Shiok Lighting will not be obliged to fulfill the order should there be any discrepancies once the delivery order is signed. However, the cancellation policy can still be applied if applicable.

  • In the unlikely event that the purchased product is not working within the warranty period, please email Shiok Lighting as soon as possible. One-for-one exchange is only available if item is beyond repair. A transportation charge of $30 per trip is applicable for on-site return or exchange (excluding installation), otherwise self-collection is available at no charge. Full refund shall only be applicable in the event that one-to-one exchange is unavailable. 

  • Sample, display and sales clearance pieces sold are non-refundable and non-exchangable in any circumstances. 

  • Voucher codes can be utilized for online purchases and will be issued with their own set of conditions which are specific to each version of the code.

  • Shiok Lighting reserves the final right to decide on any refunds or exchange request.

  • Quotation will only be an acknowledgement and will not constitute acceptance of your order. A contract between us will not be formed until payment has been verified and we send you an confirmation invoice that the goods which you ordered have been processed.

  • Dispatch times may vary according to availability and subject to any delays resulting from shipment and postal delays or force majeure for which we will not be responsible. 

  • Delivery (Singapore) will typically occur within 5 working days upon verification of payment.

  • When placing an order you undertake that all details you provide to us are true and accurate, that you are an authorized user of the bank account used to place your order and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods. The cost of foreign products and services may fluctuate. All prices advertised are subject to such changes. Shiok Lighting retains the right to refuse any request made by you.

  • All prices displayed are quoted in Singapore Dollars (SGD).

  • Delivery costs will be charged in addition; such additional charges are clearly displayed where applicable and included in the 'Total Cost' stated in confirmation invoice.

Refund & Exchange Policy

  • All sales are final. Exchanges shall only be applicable for manufacturer defects. Manufacturer defects must be reported within 72 hours upon delivery or before installation, whichever is sooner. Items must be returned to Shioklighting physically in unused condition with original packaging within 7 business days of collection/delivery.

  • Please email pictures of the damaged merchandise to hello@shioklighting.com with clear description of the defects to initiate the process of exchange.

  • One-to-one exchange will be provided for defective items in approximately 14 working days, subjected to replacement availability. One exchange is allowed per purchase. The exchanged product will not be eligible for further exchange unless faulty. There will be no refunds given if chosen item is lower priced. If chosen item is of a higher price, top up the balance with cash or nets.

  • Full refund in the product cost shall only be applicable in the event one-to-one exchange is unavailable. Items must be in its original unused condition in its original packaging with receipt and must be returned to our office within 7 business days of collection/delivery

  • Return and Exchange Policy does not apply to items indicated “Final Sale”, “Display Item”, “Customized Order”, as well as damaged items resulting from misuse, abuse, normal wear & tear and incorrect self-assembly, and products damaged after delivery is made.​

  • Shipping costs are non ­refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from the amount that we will refund you. 

  • Shiok Lighting reserve the final right to decide on any refunds or exchange request. 

Warranty Policy

  • Functionality defects are covered under 12-months limited off-site warranty (excluding wear-and-tear components and accessories). Items must be returned within 12 months of collection/delivery should there be a functionality defect. 

  • Free lightbulbs provided are not entitled to any warranty. 

  • One-to-one exchange will be provided for defective items in approximately 14 working days, subjected to replacement availability. Full refund shall only be applicable in the event that one-to-one exchange is unavailable.

  • Shiok lighting reserve the final right to decide on any refunds or exchange request. 

  • Shiok Lighting reserve the final decision in any claims of physical defects for products that includes materials and designs which color, texture and finishing are inconsistent in nature. These include but are not limited to concrete, timber and vintage/industrial design themes. 

  • Colors between physical products and pictures might be drastically different depending on individual medium used to display them. Shiok Lighting shall not be held responsible for color accuracy perceived.

  • Whilst we try and ensure that all details, descriptions and prices which appear on this Website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.

Delivery Policy

  • When receiving delivery of the order, the customer or appointed party shall inspect the item(s). Should there be any discrepancy or defects, please write in to hello@shioklighting.com with a short description and photos attached within 72 hours. The team will revert to you in 3 working days. Please note that once delivery order is signed off, it is deemed that the order has been received in good order.

  • Manufacturer defects must be reported within 72 hours upon delivery or before installation, whichever is sooner. Items must be returned to Shiok Lighting physically in unused condition with original packaging. There will be strictly no exchanges once items are installed.

  • In the unlikely event that the purchased product is not working within the warranty period, please email us at hello@shioklighting.com as soon as possible.
