A meeting of memory and modernity - this ambient desk lamp is a collaboration between our studio and local artist J.J. Chuan, founder of Rehyphen, the studio behind MusicCloth®: an innovative up-cycle material made from discarded cassette tapes and video tapes.
At its heart is a handwoven panel crafted from upcycled cassette , giving voice to forgotten media in a shimmering, textural form. Framed by a 3D-printed body of clean lines and quiet strength, the lamp blends sustainable innovation with sculptural design. When lit, the Cassette Lamp casts a gentle, diffused glow that brings warmth to any space - inviting reflection, nostalgia, and calm.
