It's also known as the Edison bulb with big screw socket (27 millimeters). E27 refers to the socket, the fastening which you screw into your lighting appliance. Being the most common bulb in the world, the perks includes having a lot of designs to choose from, from edison style bulbs to smart bulbs. Yes, smart bulbs too! There are multiple major companies selling these smart system, Philips and IKEA are 2 most common options in Singapore. Our lamps that are using E27 fitting is compatible to these smart systems.
